Janae and I and the Afterword Team count it an honor to have the opportunity to share the message of Christ through the avenue of music to men behind bars. We have witnessed the transforming power of Christ in the lives of the hopeless there. There is a sense of urgency to offer hope to the desperate and lost men through the saving grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. In prison, music is vital to the soul. Oftentimes it has the ability to penetrate a heart when nothing else can. Janae and I feel called to be used to make a difference in the lives of the incarcerated. Jesus in Matthew 25, encourages us to visit those in prison. So, as we endeavor to share Christ to these often forgotten men. We ask that you join us in prayer and support as INSIDE PRISON MINISTRIES seeks to penetrate the hearts of the lost and encourage Christian brothers behind bars.

Wayburn Dean has been in music ministry for over 30 years and has seen God do some amazing things as he has ministered across the United States and around the world.  And yet in some ways it feels like God has been doing all of that to prepare Wayburn and his wife, Janae, for a fresh new calling to take the hope that only Jesus gives to the forgotten…the men and women behind bars in state and federal prisons across the country.  Recently, Wayburn and Janae shared the inside story behind  Inside Prison Ministries.  Take a moment to hear Wayburn and Janae’s heart and then ask the Lord if He wants you to join them in reaching out to one of the largest mission fields located “in our own backyard.”
